How to work with feather

To work with feather

Feather blurs edges by building a transition boundary between the selection and its

Surrounding pixels. This blurring can cause some loss of detail at the edge of the selection.

Step 1

First, draw an elliptical selection

Then click the Select menu, and choose Feather

Step 3

A Feather dialog box will display. Enter the value of feather, and then click on the OK button.
